Statements by Early Clergy and Statesmen

Virtues of the Christian System

Let divines and philosophers, statesmen and patriots, unite their endeavors to renovate the age, by impressing the minds of men with the importance of educating their little boys and girls, of inculcating in the minds of youth the fear and love of the Deity and universal philanthropy, and, in subordination to these great principles, the lover of their country; of instructing them in the art of self-government without which they never can act a wise part in the government of societies, great or small; in short, of leading them in the study and practice of the exalted virtues of the Christian system.... –Samuel Adams, October 4, 1790

The Influence of Christianity

To the kindly influence of Christianity we owe that degree of civil freedom and political and social happiness which mankind now enjoys. In proportion as the genuine effects of Christianity re diminished in any nation; either through unbelief, or the corruption of its doctrines, or the neglect of its institutions; in the same proportion will the people of that nation recede from the blessings of genuine freedom, and approximate the miseries of complete despotism. –Dr. Jedediah Morse, April 25, 1799

The Holy Bible

The moral principles and precepts contained in the scriptures ought to form the basis of all our civil constitutions and laws. All the miseries and evils which men suffer from vice, crime, ambition, injustice, oppression, slavery, and war, proceed from their despising or neglecting the precepts contained in the Bible. –Noah Webster

America-a Christian Nation

The proposition that the United States of America are a Christian and Protestant nation, is not so much the assertion of a principle as the statement of a fact. That fact is not simply that the great majority of the people are Christians and Protestants, but t he the organic life, the institutions, laws, and official action of the government, whether that action should be legislative, judicial, or executive, is, and of right should be, and in fact must be, in accordance with the principles of Protestant Christianity. –Reverend Charles Hodge, Princeton Seminary, 1876

America is the Land of the Holy Bible

This is a Christian nation, first in name, and secondly because of the many and mighty elements of pure Christianity which have given it character and shaped its destiny from the beginning. It is preeminently the land of the Bible, of the Christian Church, and of the Christian Sabbath. It is the land of the great and extensive and oft-repeated revivals of a spiritual religion, –the land of a free conscience and of free speech, –the land of noble charities and of manifold and earnest efforts for t he elevation and welfare of the human race. The chief security and glory of the United States of America has been, is now, and will forever, the prevalence and domination of the Christian faith. –B. Sutherland

Diffuse a Knowledge of the Bible

Diffuse the knowledge of the Bible, and the hungry will be fed, and the naked clothed. Diffuse the knowledge of the Bible, and the stranger will be sheltered, the prisoner visited, and the sick ministered unto. Diffuse the knowledge of the Bible, and Temperance will rest upon a surer basis than any mere private pledge or public statute. Diffuse the knowledge of the Bible, and the peace of the world will be secured by more substantial safeguards than either the mutual fear, or the reciprocal interests, of princes or of people. Diffuse the knowledge of the Bible, and the day will be hastened, as it can be hastened in no other way, when every yoke shall be loosened, and every bond broken, and when there shall be no more leading into captivity.... –John Winthrop

The Religious Character of America

Finally, let us not forget the religious character of our origin. Our fathers were brought hither by their high veneration for the Christian religion. They journeyed by its light, and labored in its hope. They sought to incorporate its principles with the elements of their society, and to diffuse its influence through all their institutions, civil, political, or literary. Let us cherish these sentiments, and extend this influence still more widely; in the full conviction, that, that is the happiest society which partakes in the highest degree of the mild and peaceful spirit of Christianity. –Daniel Webster

Part I–White House Guest Taken to Mayo Clinic

On January 20, 2004 one of America’s most distinguished citizens and a close personal friend of the president was taken secretly to Scottsdale, Arizona for emergency treatment. It appears that the VIP was visiting with the president in the Oval office prior to the State of the Union address when he became disoriented and confused. Due to the celebrity status of the guest and the possible effect upon Wall Street and world financial markets (if word of his illness was discovered by the press), the Secret Service decided to secretly escort him to Andrews Air Force base outside Washington, D. C. He was quietly flown to the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona on a U. S. Air Force Lear jet for a comprehensive examination and diagnosis.

When the plane arrived in Phoenix, the Secret Service quickly escorted the VIP to a private entrance at the Mayo Clinic. A team of doctors had been alerted and were waiting for the guest when he arrived. The guest was given a battery of mental and physical examinations and tests.

After several days of examinations the group of distinguished doctors and medial examiners met in secret to discuss the findings of their week long examination of the VIP. The team of doctors was united in their diagnosis of their renowned guest. One of the most famous people in American history was suffering from an acute case of amnesia.

The noted guest could not remember his name, where he came from, what he was doing at the present time or where he was going in the future.

Types of Amnesia in the World Today

Amnesia is “a disturbance in the memory of information stored in long–term memory, in contrast to short–term memory, manifested by total or partial inability to recall past experiences.” (Stedman’s Medical Dictionary.) The medical examiners pointed out to family and friends of the guest that there are several types of amnesia:

“Anterograde Amnesia–Inability to remember ongoing events after the incidence of trauma or the onset of the disease that causes amnesia.

“Emotional–Hysterical Amnesia–Memory loss caused by psychological trauma; usually a temporary condition.

“Lacunar Amnesia–Inability to remember a specific event.

“Korsakoff Amnesia–Memory loss caused by chronic alcoholism

“Post- hypnotic Amnesia–Memory loss sustained from a hypnotic state; can include inability to recall events that occurred during hypnosis or information stored in long-term memory.

“Retrograde Amnesia–Inability to remember events that occurred before the incidence of trauma or the onset of disease that caused the amnesia..

“Transient Global Amnesia–Spontaneous memory loss that can last from minutes to several hours; usually seen in middle-aged to elderly people.” (Stedman’s Medical Dictionary.)

Based upon a preliminary diagnosis and examination, the doctors ruled out the following types of amnesia: (1) Lacunar Amnesia because the memory loss experienced by the VIP involves more than a single event; (2) Korsakoff Amnesia because the patient did not consume alcohol; (3) post- hypnotic Amnesia because the patient had never been hypnotized; and (4) Transient Global Amnesia because the memory loss has lasted for several days instead of several hours.

The team of distinguished doctors believed the patient was suffering from a combination of Anterograde Amnesia, Emotional-Hysterical Amnesia and Retrograde Amnesia. They were quick to point out further tests, studies and evaluations would have to be made before a final diagnosis was reached. The team also assured family and friends of the VIP guest that in most cases amnesia was just a temporary condition lasting for a few weeks or months.

After extensive consultations with the distinguished group of doctors at the Mayo Clinic, close relatives and friends of the guest decided it would be best to seclude the VIP at a private resort in the desert of Arizona, while a team of doctors at the Mayo Clinic and around America could devise a medical plan to help the guest regain his memory.

Important Items That the VIP Guest Could Not Remember

The doctors and medical staff at the hospital prepared a detailed list of items which the VIP could not recall. Their special guest could not remember that:

The medical team has asked the author to prepare a series of papers on various subjects to help their patient regain his memory. The chapters in this volume were prepared at the doctor’s request.

Part II–The Loss of Memory is Devastating for a Nation

The loss of memory is as important for nations as it is for individuals. Arthur M. Schlesinger, writing in a famous treatise entitled, The Disuniting of America: Reflections on a Multi-cultural Society stated:

“Writing history is an old and honorable profession with distinctive standards and purposes. The historian’s goals are accuracy, analysis, and objectivity in the reconstruction of the past. But history is more than an academic discipline up there in the stratosphere. It also has its own role in the future of nations.

“For history is to the nation rather as memory is to the individual. As an individual deprived of memory becomes disoriented and lost, not knowing where he has been or where he is going, so a nation denied a conception of its past will be disabled in dealing with its present and its future. As the means of defining national identity, history becomes a means of shaping history.

The writing of history then turns from a moderation into a weapon. ‘Who controls the past controls the future,’ runs the Party slogan in George Orwell’s 1984; ‘who controls the present controls the past.’” (New York: W. W. Norton and Company, 1992, pp. 46-47.)

History is a guide to the past, but just as important, it is a guide to the future. In the hands of the ruling elite, history becomes a weapon. “The first step in liquidating a people is to erase its memory. Destroy its books, its culture, its history. Then have someone write new books, manufacture a new culture, invent a new history. Before long the nation will begin to forget what it is and what it was.” (A historian in Milan Kundera’s, The Book of Laughter and Forgetting. Quoted in Schlesinger, p. 52.)

The American people have lost their institutional memory of the Christian heritage that guided the nation for nearly 300 years. From 1620 until 1920 the people believed that America had a divine origin and destiny. That divinely decreed destiny was of America was to serve as the cradle of liberty and the home of Christianity.

In 1920 a new civil religion emerged in America and it quickly began attacking Christianity. Know as secularism, this new belief system was based upon agnosticism and atheism. The Bible was replaced with the Origin of Man by Charles Darwin. An ideological civil war erupted between those who believe in God and those who believe in the evolutionary development of man from a single cell through natural processes. In this new secular religion there is no God and no Creator. There is no divine rights of man and no spark of divinity in man.

The proponents of secularism quickly began to takeover the institutions of learning in America. First, the universities were seized and Christians were told to vacate the premises and not to return. Next, the philosophy of secularism began to trickle down into the public school system and gradually the entire nation was indoctrinated in a new religion without their even knowing it. They succeeded in removing Christianity from education in America through a strategy known as gradualism.

Once they gained control of the educational system in America, the secularists targeted other institutions such as government, media, publishing houses, foundations, courts and corporations. A new religion replaced Christianity and America became a secular state.

From 1920 until 2004 Christianity has been in retreat. It is time to halt the growth of secularism in America. It is time to restore the Christian religion in America. It is time to take a stand in the war between good and evil, right and wrong, light and darkness, freedom and tyranny. It is time to stand firmly in the defense of Christianity and its noble principles and doctrines. It is time to defend the founding fathers and the founding documents of America. It is time to defend the divinity of Jesus Christ as the Savior and Redeemer of the world. It is time to accept the Holy Bible as the Word of God and adhere to its inspired messages and declarations. It is time to say, enough is enough. It is time to repeat the cry once heard throughout the American colonies, “Don’t Tread on me.” It is time to say no to the basic principles, philosophies and beliefs of secularism which are destroying the heart and soul of American society and the world at large.

It is time to regain an understanding of the basic doctrines and teachings of the King James Version of the Holy Bible. The doctrines and teachings of the prophets in the Old Testament; the doctrines and teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ in the New Testament; and the doctrine and teachings of the apostles in the New Testament form the basis of reality and truth. The Holy Bible is the foundation of political, economic and religious liberty in America. It is imperative that we understand the doctrines and teachings of the Holy Bible if we are going to preserve America and its free institutions in the days ahead. It is imperative that we understand the basic doctrines and teachings of the Holy Bible if we are going to battle the forces of secularism.

Part I– Basic Doctrines and Teachings of the Old Testament

The Old Testament contains the writings of the prophets of God who were called and ordained and set apart as special ambassadors of the Lord Jesus Christ to teach the gospel or plan of salvation to the inhabitants of the earth. There are 39 books in the Old Testament, however, only 21 books were written by prophets of God. In this sections we will only look at the doctrines and teachings of the prophets of God. All of the quotes from the holy scriptures will be taken from the King James Version of the Holy Bible which was printed in England in 1611. In light of the changes in the various translations which have been made by secular scholars it is best to use the King James Version because it is the best translation of the copies of the ancient Greek manuscripts which contained the original writings of the prophets of God.

Book of Genesis

The Physical Creation of the Earth and the Heavens

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

And God called and the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

And God said let there be firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.

And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament.

And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.

And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.

And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.

And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seeds, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.

And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

And the evening and the morning were the third day.

And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven t o divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:

And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.

And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.

And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth.

And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.

And in the evening and the morning were the fourth day.

And God said, let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.

And God created the great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged foul after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.

And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.

And God said, let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.

And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good. –Genesis 1: 1-25.

The Physical Bodies of Adam and and Eve Are Created in the Image of God the Father

And God said, let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him: male and female created he them.

And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. –Genesis 1: 1: 26-28.

God Provided Adam and Eve and Children with Herbs and Fruits

And God said, Behold I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. –Genesis 1: 29.

God Gives the Beasts of the Earth Herbs for Food

And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing which creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given green herb for meat: and it was so.

God Is Pleased With the Creation of the Earth

And God saw every thing that he had made, and behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day. –Genesis 1: 31.

God Institutes the Sabbath Day and Rests from His Creative Endeavors

Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.

And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.

And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he has rested from all his work which God created and made. –Genesis 2: 1-3.

Creation of the Spirit Earth Was Completed Before Creation of the Physical Earth

These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the Lord God made the earth and the heavens,

And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the Lord God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not man to till the ground. –Genesis 2: 4-5.

A Mist Arises Upon the Earth to Water the New Physical Creations of God

But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground. –Genesis 2: 6.

Physical Creation of Adam

And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.... –Genesis 2: 7.

God Places Adam in the Garden of Eden Which He Created

And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.

And out of the ground made the Lord God to grow every three that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads. –Genesis 2: 8-10.

God Creates the Physical Body of Eve

And the Lord took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.

     And the Lord god commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat;

But of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, thou shall not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.

And out of the ground the Lord formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them forth unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.

And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowls of their, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him.

     And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept; and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;

And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.

And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of man. –Genesis 2: 15-23.

God Marries Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden

Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed. –Genesis 2: 24-25.

The Devil Deceives Eve in the Garden of Eden

Now the serpent [Lucifer] was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:

But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

For God doeth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. –Genesis 3: 1-5.

The Fall of Adam and Eve Is Instituted After They Eat of the Forbidden Fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil

And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to t he eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and id eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons. –Genesis 3: 6-7.

God the Father Appears Unto Adam and Eve and He Walks and Talks With Them in the Garden of Eden

And they heard the voice of the Lord god walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God amongst the trees of the garden.

And the Lord God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where are thou?

And he said, I heard they voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.

And he said, Who told them that thou was naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?

And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.

And the Lord God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat. –Genesis 3: 8-13.

God Speaks Unto the Devil and Places a Curse Upon Him

     And the Lord God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and ust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life;

I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise they head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. –Genesis 3: 14-15.

God Tells Eve to Cleave Unto Her Husband

Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee. –Genesis 3: 16.

God Curses the Earth and Death Is Introduced Upon the Earth

     And unto Adam he said, because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, thou shalt no eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;

     Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;

In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it was thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust thou return. –Genesis 3: 17-19.

God Makes Adam and Eve Coats of Leather

O my soul, come not thou into their secret; unto their assembly, mine honour, be not thou united: for in their anger they slew a man, and in their selfwill they diggest down a wall.

The Tribes of Israel Are Enslaved in Egypt by a New Pharaoh

Now there arose up a new king over Egypt , which knew not Joseph.

And he said unto his people, behold, the people of the children of Israel are more and mightier that we:

Come on, let us deal wisely with them, lest they multiply, and it come to pass, that, when there falleth our any war, they join also unto our enemies, and fight against us, and so get them up out of the land.

Therefore they did set over t hem taskmasters to afflict them with their burdens. And they built for Pharaoh treasure cities, Pithom and Raamses.

But the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied and grew. And they were grieved because of the children of Israel.

And the Egyptians made the children of Israel to serve with rigour:

And they made their lives bitter with hard bondage, in morter, and in brick, and in all manner of service, wherein they made them serve as with rigour. –Exodus 1: 8-14.

The Lord Appears to Moses Standing in the Midst of a Burning Bush

Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father in law, the priest of Midian: and he led the flock to the backside of the desert, and came to the mountain of God, even to Horeb.

And the angel of Lord appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and behold, the bush was not consumed.

And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great site, why the bush is not burnt.

And when the Lord saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.

And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground.

Moreover he said, I am the God thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Jacob, and the God of Jacob, And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God.

     And the Lord said, I have surely seen the afflictions of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows;

And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites.

Now therefore, behold, the cry of the children of Israel is come unto me: and I have also seen the oppression wherewith the Egyptians oppress them

Come now therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt.

And Moses said unto God, Who am I, that I should go unto Pharaoh, and that I should bring forth the children of Israel out of Egypt?

And he said, Certainly I will be with thee; and this shall be a token unto thee, that I have sent thee: When thou hast brought forth the people out of Egypt, ye shall serve God upon the mountain.

And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I am come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? What shall I say unto them?

And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM that sent me unto you.

And God said more moreover to Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my memorial unto all generations.

Go, and gather the elders of Israel together, and say unto them, The Lord god of your fathers, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob, appeared unto me, saying, I have surely visited you, and seen that which is done in Egypt:

And I have said, I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt unto the land of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Jebusites, unto a land flowing with milk and honey.

And they shall hearken unto they voice: and thou shalt come, thou and the elders of Israel, unto the kind of Egypt, and ye shall say unto him, The Lord God of the Hebrews hath met with us: and mow let us go, we beseech thee, three days’ journey into the wilderness, that we may sacrifice to the Lord our God.

And I am sure that the king of Egypt will not let you go, no, not by a might hand.

And I will stretch out my hand, and smite Egypt with all my wonders which I will do in the midst thereof; and after that he will let you go.

And I will give this people favour in the sight of the Egyptians: and it shall come to pass, that, when ye go, ye shall not go empty:

But every woman shall borrow of her neighbor, and of her that sojourneth in her house, jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment: and ye shall put them upon your sons, and upon your daughters; and he shall spoil the Egyptians. –Exodus 3: 1-22.

Seven days shall ye eat unleavened bread....

Now the sojourning of the children of Israel, who dwelt in Egypt, was four hundred and thirty years.

And it came to pass at the end of the found hundred and thirty years, even the selfsame day it came to pass, that all the hosts of the Lord went out from the land of Egypt.

It is a night to be much observed unto the Lord for bringing them out from the land of Egypt: this is that night of the Lord to be observed of all the children of Israel in their generations.

Moses Parts the Red Sea and Allows Israel to Escape from the Egyptians

     And the angel of God, which went before the camp of Israel, removed and went behind them; and the pillar of the cloud went from before their face, and stood behind them;

And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel; and it was a cloud and darkness to them, but it gave light by night to these; so that the one came not near the other night.

And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the Lord caused the sea to go back, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided.

And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.

And the Egyptians pursued, and went in after them to the midst of the sea, even all Pharaoh’s horses, his chariots, and his horsemen.

And it came to pass, that in the morning watch the Lord looked unto the Lord of hosts of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of the cloud, and troubled the host of the Egyptians,

And took off their chariot wheels, that they drave them heavily: so that the Egyptians said, Let us flee from the face of Israel; for the Lord fighteth for them against the Egyptians.

And the Lord said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand over he sea, that the waters may come over the sea, that the waters may come again upon t he Egyptians, upon their chariots, and upon their horsemen.

And Moses stretched forth this hand over the sea, and the sea returned to his strength when the morning appeared; and the Egyptians fled against it; and the Lord overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of he sea.

And the waters returned, and covered the chariots, and the horsemen, and all the host of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them; there remained not so much as one of them. –Exodus 14: 19-28.

He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

Surely he has borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.

But he was wounded for out transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he opened not his mouth.

He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? For he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.

And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.

Yet is pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.

He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify manyy; for he shall bear their iniquities.

And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.

There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed.

And they shall build houses, and inhabit them, and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them.

They shall not build and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree are the days of my people, ad mine lect shall long enjoy the work of their hands.

They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble, for they are the seed of the blessed of the Lord, and their offspring with them.

And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.

And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.

In that day, saith the Lord, I will smite every horse with astonishment, and his rider with madness: and I will open mine eyes upon the house of Judah, and will smite every horse of the people with blindness.

And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, The inhabitants of Jerusalem shall be my strength in the Lord of hosts their God.

In that day will I make the governors of Judah like an hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and they shall devour all the people round about, on the right hand and on the left: and Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, even in Jerusalem.

The Lord also shall save the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem do not magnify themselves against Judah.

In that day shall the Lord defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as God, as the angel of the Lord before them.

And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem. –Zechariah 12: 2-9.

The House of Judah Shall See the Wounds in the Hands and Side of Jesus Christ and Realize

That He Was the Messiah and the King of the Jews

And I will pour out upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and t hey shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for hin, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for his firstborn.

In that day shall there be a great mourning in Jerusalem, as the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddon. –Zechariah 12: 10-11.

The Lord Will Fight For Israel in the Battle of Armageddon

Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.

For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.

Then shall the Lord go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.

And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.

And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of mountains shall reach unto Azai: ye, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the Lord my God shall come, and all the saints with me.

And it shall come to pass in that day, that the light shall not be clear, nor dark:

But it shall be one day which shall be known to the Lord, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that evening time it shall be light.

And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go forth out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea; half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be.

And the Lord shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord, and his name one.

All the land shall be turned as a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem: and it shall be lifted up, and inhabited in her place, from Benjamin’s gate unto the place of the first gate, unto the corner gate, and from the tower of Hananeel unto the king’s winepresses.

And men shall dwell in it, and there shall be no more utter destruction: but Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited.

And this shall be the plague wherewith the Lord shall smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.

And it shall come to pass in that day, that a great tumult from the Lord shall be among them; and they shall lay hold every one on the hand of his neighbor, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbor.

And Judah also shall fight at Jerusalem; and the wealth of the heathen round about shall be gathered together, gold, and silver, and apparel, in great abundance.

And so shall be t he plague of the horse, of the mule, of the camel, and of the ass, and of all the beasts that shall be in these tents, as t his plague.

And it shall come to pass that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the feast of the tabernacles.

And it shall he, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain.–Zechariah 14: 1-16.

     Book of Malachi

The Inhabitants of the Earth All Have One Eternal Father in Heaven

Have we not all one father? hath not one God created us? why do we deal treacherously every man against his brother, by profaning the covenant of our fathers? –Malachi 2: 10.

The Importance of the Law of Tithing

Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the Lord of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return?

Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.

Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.

Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the Lord of hosts.

And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land; saith the Lord of hosts. –Malachi 3: 7-12.

The Proud and Wicked Shall Be Consumed at the Second Coming of Jesus Christ

For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven, and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the Lord of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.

But unto you that fear my name, shall the Sun [Son] of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall do forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.

And ye shall dread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the Lord of hosts. –Malachi 4: 1-3.

Elijah Will Return to Earth before the Second Coming

     Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before t he coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord;

And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse. –Malachi 4: 5-6.

Part II– The Doctrines and Teachings of the Apostles in the New Testament

New Testament

King James Version of the Holy Bible (1611)

Book of Acts

Jesus Ministers for Forty Days with the Apostles before Ascending To Heaven

The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus of all that Jesus began both to do and teach.

Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen:

To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many fallible proofs, being sen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the Kingdom of God:

And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which saith he, ye have heard of me.

For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy ghost not many days hence.

When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?

And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.

But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall witness unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.

And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel:

Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall also come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven. Acts 1: 1-11.

The Apostles Meet With Mary the Mother of Jesus in Jerusalem

Then returned they unto Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is from Jerusalem a sabbath day’s journey.

And when they were come in, they went up into an upper room, where abode both Peter, and James, and John , and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, Simon Zelotes, and Judas the brother of James.

These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren. –Acts 1: 12-14.

The Apostles Gather to Choose a New Apostle

And in those days Peter stood in the midst of the disciples, and said, (the number of names together were about hundred and twenty,)

Men and brethren, this scripture must needs have been fulfilled, which the Holy ghost by the mouth of David spake before concerning Judas, which was guide to them that took Jesus.

For he was numbered with us, and had obtained part of this ministry.

Now this man purchased a field with the reward of iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst asunder in the midst, and all his bowels gushed out.

And it was known unto all the dwellers at Jerusalem; insomuch as that field is called in t heir proper tongue, Aceldama, that is to say, the field of blood.

For it is written in the book of Psalms, Let his habitation be desolate, and let no man dwell therein: and his bishoprick let another take.

Wherefore of these men which have companied with us all the time that the Lord Jesus went in and out among us.

Beginning from the baptism of john, unto that same day that he was taken up from us, must one be ordained to be a witness with us of his resurrection.

And they appointed two men, Joseph called Barsabas, who was surnamed Justus, and Matthias.

And they prayed, and said, Thou, Lord, which knowest the hearts of all men, shew whether of these two men thou hast chosen,

That he may take part of this ministry and apostleship, from which Judas by transgression fell, that he might go to his own place,

And they gave forth their lots; and the lot fell upon Matthias; and he was numbered with the eleven apostles. –Acts 1: 15-26.

The Spirit of the Lord Is Poured Out On the Day of Pentecost

And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they sitting.

And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.

Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.

And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?

And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?

Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and Judea, and Capppadocia, in Pontus, and Asia.

Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes.

Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.

And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this?

Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine.

But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken unto my words:

For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day. –Acts 2: 1-15.

Peter Tells of Events in the Last Days

     But this is what which spoken by the prophet Joel;

And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams.

And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my spirit; and they shall prophesy:

And I will shew wonders in heavens above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:

The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come:

And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. –Acts 2: 16-21.

Peter Testifies That Jesus Was Resurrected As Foretold

Ye men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves know:

Hin, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:

Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.

For David speaketh concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is one my right hands, that I should not be moved:

Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad: moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope:

Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

Thou hast made know to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance.

Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.

     Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God has sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;

He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that this soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh see corruption.

This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof were are all witnesses.

Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.

For David is not ascended into heavens: but he saith himself, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,

Until I make thy foes footstool.

Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ. –Acts 2:22-36

Peter Invites All to Repent and Be Baptized In the Name of Jesus Christ

Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy ghost.

For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar of, even as many as the lord our God shall call.

And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from tis untoward generation.

Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

And they continued steadfast in the apostle’s doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles. –Acts 2: 37-43.

Peter and the Apostles Organize an Economic System Where All Things Are Held

In Common To Help the Poor, Needy and Sick and Afflicted

     And all that believed were together, and had all things common;

And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need. –Acts 2: 44-45.

Peter Heals a Man That Was Lame From the Time of His Birth

Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour.

     And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple, which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple;

Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms.

And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us.

And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them.

Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; bus such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Narazeth rise up and walk.

And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones receiveth strength.

And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking and leaping and praising God.

And all the people saw him walking and praising God:

And they knew that it was he which sat for alms at the beautiful gate of the temple: and they were filled with wonder and amazement unto him.

And as the lame man which was healed held Peter and john, all the people ran together unto them in the porch that is called Solomon’s, greatly wondering. –Acts 3: 1-11.

Peter Testifies That Jesus Is the Christ Whom They Crucified

And when peter saw it, he answered unto the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk?

The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Son Jesus; whom ye delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let him go.

     But ye denied the holy One and the Just and desired a murderer to be granted unto you;

And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses.

And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is in him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.

And now brethren, I wot that through ignorance ye did it, as did also your rulers.

But those things, which God before had shewed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he hath so fulfilled.

     Repent, ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;

And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:

Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.

For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you.

And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.

Yea, and all the prophets from Samuel and those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have likewise foretold of these days.

Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed.

Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning every one of you from his iniquities. –Acts 3: 12-26.

Peter and John Are Arrested By the Chief Priests and Sadducees

for Preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ

And as they spake unto the people, the priests and the captain of the temple, and the Sadducees, came upon them,

Being grieved that they taught the people, and preached through Jesus the resurrection from the dead.

And they laid hands on them, and put them in hold unto the next day: for it was now eventide.

Howbeit many of them which heard the word believed; and the number of men was about five thousand.

And it came to pass on the morrow, that their rulers, and elders, and scribes,

And Annas the high priest, and Caiaphas, and John, and Alexander, and as many as were of the kindred of the high priest, were gathered together at Jerusalem.

And when they had set them in the midst, they asked, By what power, or by what name, have ye done t his?

Then Peter, filled with the Holy ghost, said unto them, Ye rulers of the people and elders of Israel,

     If we this day be examined of the good deeds done to the impotent man, by what means he is made whole;

Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom god raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.

This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.

And beholding the man which was healed standing with them, that they could say nothing against it.

But when they had commanded them to go aside of the council, they conferree among themselves,

Saying, What shall we do to these men? for that indeed a notable miracle hath been done by them is manifest to all that dwell in Jerusalem; and we cannot deny it.

But that it spread no further among the people, let us straitly threaten the people, let us straitly threaten them, that they speak henceforth to no man in this name.

And they called them, and commanded then not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus.

But Peter answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye.

For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.

So when they further threatened them, they let them go, finding nothing how t hey might punish them, because of the people: for all men glorified God for that which was done.

For the man was above forty years old, on whom this miracle of healing was shewed.

And being let go, they went to their own company, and reported all that the chief priests and elders had said unto them. –Acts 4: 1-23.

The Apostles Establish An Economic System Among the Church

Where They Were Of One Heart and Have All Things in Common

And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.

And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.

Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold,

And laid them down at apostle’s feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need.–Acts 4: 32-35.

Stephen Testifies of the Apostasy of the House of Judah and Is Stoned to Death

Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist he Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, do ye.

Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted? and they have slain them which shewed before of the coming of the Just One; of whom ye have been now the betrayers and murderers:

Wh have received the law by the disposition of angels, and have not kept it.

When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and hey gnashed on him with their teeth.

But, he being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up steadfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus, standing on the right hand of God,

And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.

Then they cried out with a loud voice, and stopped their ears, and ran upon him with one accord.

And cast him out of the city, and stoned him: and the witnesses laid down their clothes as a young man’s feet, whose name was Saul.

And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.

And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep. –Acts 7: 51-60.

Philip Preaches the Gospel and Heals People and Casts Out Devils

Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them.

And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.

For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and that were lame were healed.

And great was the joy in that city, –Acts 8: 5-8.

Peter and John Travel To Samaria and Bestow the Gift of the Holy Ghost

Upon New Members of the Church of Jesus Christ

Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and john:

Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the holy ghost:

(For as yet he wa fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)

Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost. –Acts 8: 14-17.

Jesus Appears To Saul and He is Stricken

with Blindness for Persecuting the Lord

And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest.

And desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem.

And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:

And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest me?

And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.

And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.

And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man.

And Saul arose from the earth; and when his eyes were opened, he saw no man: but they led him bu thje hand, and brought him into Damascus.

And he was three days without sight, and neither did eat or drink.

And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord.

And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, and enquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold be prayeth,

And hath seen in a vision a man named Ananias coming in, and putting his hand on him, that he might receive his sight.

Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath done to they saints at Jerusalem:

And here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on thy name.

But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:

For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name’s sake.

And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord even, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost.

And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized.

And when he has received meat, he was strengthened. Then was Saul certain days with the disciples which were at Damascus.

And straightway he preached Christ in the synagogues, that he is the Son of God.

But all that heard him were amazed, and said; Is not this he that destroyed them which called on this name in Jerusalem, and came hither to that intent, that he might bring them bound unto the chief priests?

But Saul increased the more in strength, and confounded the Jews which dwelt at Damascus, proving that this is the very Christ.–Acts 9: 1-22.

The Jewish Leaders at Damascus Seek To Kill Saul

And after many days were fulfilled, the Jews took counsel to kill him:

But their laying await was known of Saul. And they watched the gates day and night to kill him.

Then the disciples took him by night, and let him down by the wall in a basket.–Acts 9: 23-25.

Peter Sees a Vision Wherein He Was Instructed

to Take the Gospel to the Gentiles

On the morrow, as they went on their journey, and drew nigh unto the city, Peter went up upon the housetop to pray about the sixth hour:

And he became very hungry, and would have eaten: but while they made ready, he fell into a trance,

And saw heaven opened, and certain vessel descending unto him, as it has been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth:

Wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fouls of the air.

And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter, kill, and eat.

But Peter said, Not so, Lord: for I have never eaten any thing that is uncommon or unclean.

And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call no thou common.

This was done thrice: and the vessel was received up again into heaven.

Now while Peter doubted in himself what this vision which he ad seen mean, behold, the men which were sent from Cornelius had made enquiry for Simon’s house, and stood before the gate.

And called and asked whether Simon, which was surnamed peter, were lodged there.

While Peter thought on the vision, the Spirit said unto him, Behold, three men seek thee.

Arise therefore, and get thee down, and go with them, doubting nothing; for I have sent them.

Then Peter went down to the men which were sent unto him from Cornelius; and said, Behold, I am he whom ye seek: what is the cause wherefore ye are come?

And they said, Cornelius the centurion, a just man, and of good report among the nation of the Jews, was warned from God by an holy angel to send for thee into his house, and to hear words of thee.

Then called he them in, and lodged them. And on the morrow Peter went away with them, and certain brethren from Joppa accompanied him.

And the morrow after they enter into Caesarea. And Cornelius waited for them, and had called together his kinsmen and near friends.

And Peter was coming in, Cornelius met him, and fell down at his feet, and worshipped him.

But, Peter, took him up, saying Stand up; I myself also am a man.

And as he talked with him, he went in, and found many that were come together.

And he said unto them , Ye know how that it is unlawful for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation; but God hath shewed me that I should not call any man common or unclean.

Therefore came I unto you with out gainsaying, as soon as I was sent for: I ask therefore for what intent ye have sent for me? –Acts 10: 9-29.

An Angel Appears Unto Cornelius and Tells Him to Send For Peter

And Cornelius said, Four days ago I was fasting until this hour; and at the ninth hour I prayed in my house, and behold, a man stood before me in bright clothing,

And said, Cornelius, thy prayer is heard, and thine alms are had in remembrance in the sight of God.

Send therefore to Joppa, and call hither Simon, whose surname is Peter; he is lodged in the house of one Simon a tanner by the sea side: who, when he cometh, shall speak unto thee.

Immediately therefore I sent to thee; and thou hast well done that thou art come. Now therefore are wr are here present before God, to hear all things that are commanded thee of God.

Then peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:

But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.

The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all:)

     That word, I say, ye know, which was published throughout all Judaea, and began from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached;

How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God as with him.

And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree:

     Him god raised up the third day, and shewed him openly;

Not to all the people, but unto witnesses chosen of God, even to us, who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead.

And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and t o testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead.

To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in his receive remission of sins.

While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy ghost fell on all them that heard the word.

And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.

For they heard them speak tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter,

Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost was well as we?

And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days. –Acts 10: 30-48.

The Name of Christians Is Adopted by the Saints at Antioch

Then departed Barnabas to Tarsus, for to seek Saul:

An Angel of the Lord Frees Peter from Prison

And because he saw it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to take Peter also. (Then were the days of the unleavened bread.)

And when he had apprehended him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people.

Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.

And when Herold would have brought him forth, the same night Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with chains: and the keepers before the door kept the prison.

And behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell on from his hands.

And the angel said unto him, Gird thyself, and bind on thy sandals. And so he did. And he saith unto him, Cast thy garment about thee and follow me.

And he went out, and followed him; and wist not that it was true which was done by the angel; but thought he saw a vision.

When they were past the first and the second ward, they came unto the iron gate that leadeth unto the city; which opened to them of his own accord: and they went out, and passed on through one street; and forthwith the angel departed from him.

And when Peter was come to himself, he said, Now I now of a surety, that t he Lord hath sent his angel, and hath delivered me out of the hand of Herod, and from all the expectation of the people of the Jews. –Acts 12: 3-11.

Saul Curses a Sorcerer with Blindness

And when they had gone through the isle unto Paphos, they found a certain sorcerer, a false prophet, a Jew, who name was Bar-jesus:

Which was with the deputy of the country, Sergius Paulus, a prudent man; who called for Barnabus and Saul, and desired to hear the word of God.

But Elymas the sorcerer (for so is his name by interpretation) withstood them, seeking to turn awayy the deputy from the faith.

Then Saul (who also is called Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him.

And said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?

And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness; and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand. –Acts 13: 6-11.

The Gospel Was First Given to the Jews and Now it Goes to the Gentiles

And the next Sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God.

But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy, and spake against those things which were spoken by Paul, contradicting and blaspheming.

Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn

to the Gentiles.

For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou should be for the salvation unto the ends of the earth.

And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.–Acts 13: 44-48.

Paul Is Stoned to Death and Is Revived by the Lord

And there came thither certain Jews from Antioch and Iconium, who persuaded the people, and having stoned Paul, drew him out of the city, supposing he had been dead.

Paul Is Put In Prison and a Earthquake Broke Up the Prison

and They Were Released by the Lord

And the multitude rose up together against them: and the magistrates rent off their clothes, and commanded to beat them.

And when they had laid many stripes upon them, they cast them into prison, charging the jailor to keep them safely:

Who, having received such a charge, thrust them into the inner prison, and made their feet fast in the stocks.

And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.

And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundation of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed. –Acts 16: 23-26.

Paul Teaches That All People Are the Offspring of God the Eternal Father

Then Paul stood in the midst of Mar’s hill, and said, Ye men of Athens, I perceive that in all things ye are too superstitious.

For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscriptions, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD, Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you.

God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands.

     God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;

     Neither is worshipped with men’s hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;

And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all t he face of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation:

That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:

For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man’s device.

And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:

Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead. –Acts 17: 22-31.

Paul Is Rejected by the Jews and He Takes the Gospel To the Gentiles

And when Silas and Timotheus were come from Macedonia, Paul was pressed in the spirit, and testified to the Jews that Jesus was Christ.

And when they opposed themselves, and blasphemed, he shook his raiment, and said unto them, Your blood be upon your own heads; I am clean: from henceforth I will go unto the Gentiles. –Acts 18: 5-6.

Jesus Appears Unto Paul and Tells Him to Preach the Gospel in Rome

And the night following the Lord stood by him, and said, be of good cheer, Paul: for as thou hast testified of me in Jerusalem, so must thou bear witness also at Rome. –Acts 23: 11.

Forty Jews Form a Conspiracy to Kill Paul

And when it was day, certain of the Jews banded together, and bound themselves under a curse, saying that they would neither eat nor drink till they had killed Paul.

And they were more that forty which had made this conspiracy.

And they came to the chief priests and elders, and said, We have bound ourselves under a great curse, that were will eat nothing until we have slain Paul.

Now therefore ye with the council signify to the chief captain that he bring him down unto you to morrow, as though ye would enquire something more perfectly concerning him: and we, or ever he come near, are ready to kill him. –Acts 23: 12-15.

Paul Relates His Vision and Conversion to King Agrippa

At midday, O king, I saw in the way a light from heaven, above the brightness of the sun, shining round about me and them which journeyed with me.

And when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.

And I said, Who are thou, Lord? And he said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest.

     But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister, and a witness both of things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee;

Delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee.

To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto god, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

Whereupon, o king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision:

But shewed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance.

For these causes the Jews caught me in the temple, and went about to kill me.

Having therefore help of God, I continue unto this day, witnessing both to small and great, saying none others things than those which the prophets and Moses did say should come:

That Christ should suffer, and that he should be the first that should rise from the dead, and should shew light unto the people, and to the Gentiles. –Acts 26: 13-23

Wrath of God Will Rest Upon the Wicked for Their Sins

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness....

     Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own bodies between themselves;

Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient:

Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whispers,

Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters , inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,

Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:

Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them. –Romans 1: 18, 24-32.

The Wisdom of This World Is Foolishness with God

For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For its written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.

Paul Bears Testimony That He Had Seen Jesus Christ after His Resurrection

     For I delivered unto you first of all which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve:

After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.

After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles.

And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time.

For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.. –1 Corinthians 15: 3-9.

The Atonement of Jesus Christ Overcame the Effects of the Fall of Adam

But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.

For since by man [Adam] came death, by man [Jesus Christ] came also the resurrection of the dead.

For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; after ward, they that are Christ’s at his coming.

Then cometh the end, when shall have delivered up the kingdom of god, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.

For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.

The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. –1 Corinthians 15: 20-26.

Those Who Accept the Gospel of Jesus Christ Become the Seed of Abraham

There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond or free, there is neither male or female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. – Galatians 3: 28-29.

Stand Fast In the Liberty of the Gospel of Jesus Christ

Standfast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ has made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. –Galatians 5: 1.

The Works of the Spirit and the Works of the Flesh

For, bretheren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.

For all the law id fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love they neighbor as thyself.

But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.

This I say the, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.

Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these: Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,

Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

Meekness, temperance; against such there is no law.

And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with t he affections and lusts.

If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another. –Galatians 5; 13-26.

Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

     That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

Put On the Whole Armour of God To Fight Against the Powers of Darkness and Spiritual Wickedness In High Places

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might

Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world.

Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

     Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

     And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching there unto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.... –Ephesians 6: 10-18.

Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.

And above all these things put on charity which is the bond of perfectness.

And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord.

Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them.

And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

even him, whose coming is after the workings of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders.

And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of truth, that they might be saved.

And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

That they all might be dammed, who believe not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. –2 Thessalonians 2: 7-12.

     Book of 1 Timothy

Seducing Spirits and Doctrines of Devils Shall Abound in the Last Days

     Now the Spirit speaketh expresly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron....–1 Timothy 4: 1-2.

The Love of Money and Wealth is the Root of All Evil

For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.

Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. – 1 Timothy 6: 11-12.

A Great Apostasy and Perilous Times Shall Come In the Last Days

This now also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

     Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women lades with sins, led away with divers lusts,

Ever learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.

But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be made manifest unto all men, as their also was.

But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,

Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me.

Yea, and all that will livegodly lives in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

But evil men and seducers shall wax worse an worse, deceivings, and being deceived. –2 Timothy 3: 1-13.

All Scripture Is Given by Inspiration of the Holy Ghost

And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which in Christ Jesus.

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. 2 Timothy 3: 15-17.

Teach the Doctrines of the Gospel of Jesus Christ

Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. –2 Timothyy 4: 2.

People Will Turn unto Fables In the Last Days

     For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

And they shall turn away from their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. –2 Timothy 4: 3-4.

Book of Hebrews

Jesus Is the Express Image of God the Father

God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,

     Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

     Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they. –Hebrews 1: 1-4.

The Aaronic or Levitical Priesthood and the Melchisedec Priesthood of God Are Eternal

     For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him;

To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace

Without father, without mother, without decent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually.

Now consider how great this man was, unto whom even the patriarch Abraham gave the tenth of the spoils.

And verily, they that are of the sons of Levi, who receive the office of the priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law, that is, of their brethren, throught they come out of the loins of Abraham:

But he whose descent is not counted from them received tithes of Abraham, and blessed him that had the promises.

And without all contradiction the less is blessed of the better.

And here men that die receive tithes; but there he receiveth then, of whom it is witnessed that he liveth.

And as I may also say, Levi also, who receiveth tithes, payed tithes in Abraham.

For he was yet in the loins of his father, when Melchisedec met him.

If therefore perfection were by t he Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron?

For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.

For he of whom these things are spoken pertaineth to another tribe, of which no man gave attendance at the altar.

For it is evident that our Lord sprang our of Juda; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood.

And yet it is yet far more evident: for that after the similitude of Melchisedec there ariseth another priest.

Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life.

For he testifieth, Thou art a priest [Jesus Christ] for ever after the order of Melchisedec. –Hebrews 7: 1-17.

Enoch and His City Were Translated and Did Not Taste of Death

By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him; for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. Hebrews 11: 5.

God the Fathers Is the Father of Our Spirit Bodies

Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live? – Hebrews 12: 9.

Wives Should Dress Modestly

     Likewise ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of wives;

While they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear.

     Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel;

But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.

For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands. –1 Peter 3: 1-5.

After the Crucifixion Jesus Went Into the Spirit World and Preached the Gospel

For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for t he unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:

     By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison;

Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water. –1 Peter 3: 18-19.

And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount. –2 Peter 1: 17-18.

The Sure Word of Prophecy

We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:

False Teachers Will Bring Damnable Heresies among the People

And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.

Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness.

Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shalt melt with fervent heat?

Nevertheless, we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. –2 Peter 3: 10-13.

And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon.

And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon.

And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.

And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb [Jesus Christ] as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.

And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him [God the Father] that sat upon the throne.

And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and the four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of t hem harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.

     And they sung a new song, saying, Thou are worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou was slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every nation;

And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come an see.

And there was went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.

And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him has a pair of balances in his hand.

And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beast say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.

And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see.

And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth. –Revelation 6: 1- 8.

The Sixth Seal Contains an Account of the Sealing

of 144,000 High Priests From the Twelve Tribes of Israel

And after these things I saw four angels [Destroying Angels] standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.

And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea.

Saying, hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the threes, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.

For I heard the numbers of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.

And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb. –Revelation 7: 1-10.

Those Who Overcame the World and Are Exalted In Heaven

And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God.

Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.

And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?

And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said unto me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.

They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.

For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of water: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes. – Revelation 7: 11-17.

Great Calamities and Desolations and Fire Cover the Entire the Earth Prior

to the Second Coming of Jesus Christ

And when he [Jesus Christ] had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.

And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets.

And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.

And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God our of the angel’s hand.

And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake.

And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.

The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of the trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.

And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood.

And the third part of the creature which were in the sea, and had life, died; and in the third part of the ships were destroyed.

     And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters;

And the name of the star is Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.

And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not, for a third part of it, and the night likewise.

And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound! –Revelation 8: 1-13.

Great Wars and Plagues Are Poured Out Upon the Earth Prior

to the Second Coming of Jesus Christ

And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit.

And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit.

And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.

And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.

And to them it was given that they should kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man.

And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.

And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men.

And they had hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions.

And they had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle.

And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men five months.

And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.

One woe is past; and, behold, there come two woes more hereafter.

And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God,

Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels [Destroying Angels] which are bound in the great river Euphrates.– Revelation 9: 1-14.

The Destroying Angels Are Loosed Upon the Earth and One Third

of the Population of Men on Earth Are Slain

And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men.

And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them.

And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brinstome: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone.

By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths.

For by their power is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails were like unto serpents, and had heads, and with them they do hurt. –Revelation 9: 15-19.

The Remainder of the Men Who Were Not Slain Refuse

to Repent and Continue to Worship Babylon the Great

and Its Idols of Gold, Silver and Wealth

And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:

Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornications, nor of their thefts. –Revelations 9: 20-21.

John Sees a Book That Is Sealed Until After the Second Coming of the Lord

And I saw another might angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as the pillar of fire:

And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot on the sea, and on his left foot on the earth.

And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roared: and when he hd cried, seven thunders uttered their voices.

And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not. –Revelation 10: 1-4.

John Is Told to Prophesy Before the World

And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy, again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings. –Revelation 10: 11.

During the Battle of Armageddon Two Mighty Prophets

of God Will Be Raised Up To Stay the Worldwide Armies

That Will Seek to Destroy Israel

And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.

But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.

And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and three score days, clothed in sackcloth.

These are the two olive trees, and he two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.

And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man hurt t hem, he must in this manner be killed.

These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood , and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.

And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast tht ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.

And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and a half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in the graves.

And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on earth.

And after three days and a half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.

And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.

And the same hour was there a great      earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.

The second woe is past; and behold, the third woe cometh quickly. –Revelations 11: 1-14.

The Kingdoms of the Earth Become the Kingdoms

of Jesus Christ and He Will Reign on Earth

And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven saying, The kingdom of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

And t he four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshiped God,

Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou has taken to thee thy great power, and has reigned.

And the nations were angry, and they wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth. –Revelation 11: 15-18.

A Temple of God Is Located in the Celestial Worlds

And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightenings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail –Revelations 11: 19.

A War in Heaven Erupts as Lucifer and His Angels Rebel

against God, Jesus Christ and the Righteous Sons and Daughters of God

And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:

And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.

And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon [Lucifer] having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads,

And his tail drew the third part of the stars [spirits who followed Lucifer] of heaven, and did cast them to earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.

And she brought forth a man child [Jesus Christ], who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.

And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.

And I heard voice saying in heaven, Now is the salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before God day and night. –Revelation 12: 9-10.

The Sons and Daughters of God over Lucifer

and the Evil Spirits Through Their Faith in Jesus Christ and the Power of Their Testimony

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he kneweth that he hath but a short time.

And when the dragon saw that he was cast into the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought for the man child.

And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.

And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the women, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.

And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.–Revelations 12: 11-16.

Satan Develops a World Empire

to Control the Kingdoms and Governments of the World

And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw beast [World Empire] rise up out of the sea, having seven heads [nations and governments] and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.

And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. –Revelation 13: 1-2.

The World Worships Lucifer, Babylon and Its Wealth and Lusts of the Flesh

And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed; and all the world wondered after the beast.

And they worshiped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshiped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?

And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.

And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.

And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

If any man have an ear, let him hear. –Revelation 13: 3- 9.

into Bondage Shall Go Into Bondage Themselves

And I beheld another beast [World Empire] coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.

And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire [nuclear weapons] come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,

And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast: saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.

And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. –Revelation 13: 13-15.

The Empire Controls the World Economy

And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:

And that no man might buy or sell, save that he had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast, or the number of his name.

Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man: and his number is Six hundred threescore and six. –Revelation 13: 16-18.

Jesus Christ and the 144,000 High Priests Stand On Mount Zion

And I looked, and , lo, a Lamb stood on mount Sion, and with him a hundred and forty and four thousand, having his Father’s name written in their foreheads.

And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I head the voice of harpers harping with their harps:

And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.

These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.

And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God. –Revelation 14: 1-5.

The Gospel of Jesus Christ Will Be Preached

throughout the World before the Second Coming

And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people.

Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of water. –Revelation 14: 6-7.

And the smoke of their torment shall ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. –Revelations 14: 9-11.

There Is a Tremendous Need to Share the Gospel of Jesus Christ

with the Inhabitants of the Earth

And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a gold crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.

And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time of the harvest of the earth is ripe.

And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped. –Revelations 14: 14-15..

God Pours Out Deadly Plagues upon the Wicked Throughout the World

And I heard a great vice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.

And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshiped his image.

And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea, and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea.

And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters: and they became blood.

And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou are righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus.

For they have shed the blood of the saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy.

And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments.

And the fourth angel poured our his vial upon the sun: and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.

And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.

And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain.

And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains, and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.

And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared. –Revelations 16: 1-12.

Three of Lucifer’s Greatest Evil Spirits Persuade the Nations

of the Earth to Go to War against Israel

And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.

For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.

And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.

And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done. –Revelations 16: 13-17.

And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give up her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.

And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great. –Revelation 16: 18-19.

Lucifer’s World Empire Has Spread over the Entire Earth

And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:

With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.

So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sitting upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.

And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication. –Revelation 17: 1-4.

Babylon the Great Is Lucifer’s Kingdom on Earth

And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.

And the angel said unto me, Wherefore did thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns.

The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.

And here is the mind, which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.

And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.

And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.

And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.

These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast. –Revelation 17: 5-13.

Lucifer’s World Empire Will Make War

against Jesus Christ and His Gospel and Church

These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall over come them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of Kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.

And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nation, and tongues.

And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.

For God hath put in their hearts to fulfill his will, and to agree, and give up their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.

And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth. –Revelation 17: 14-18.

The Saints of God Are Admonished To Flee Out of Babylon

And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory.

And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen is fallen, and is become t he habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.

For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.

And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye may not be partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

For her sins are reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.

Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double.

How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow. – Revelations 18: 1-7.

God Will Destroy Babylon in One Day and the Merchants of the World

Will Mourn Her Destruction

Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judged her.

And the kings of the earth, who committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they see the smoke of her burning.

Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that might city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.

And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more:

The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine line, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble.

And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men.

And the fruits that they soul lusted after are departed from thee, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all. –Revelations 18: 8-14.

The Merchants of the Earth Grew Rich by Building Babylon

and Supporting All Her Evil Deeds and Sins

The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of torment, weeping and wailing,

And saying, Alas, alas, that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls!

For in one hour so great riches is come t o nought. And every ship master, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by the sea, stood afar off.

And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city!

And they cast their dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas, that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate.

Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and he holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her.

And a might angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.

     And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsmen, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more in thee; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee;

And the light of candle shall shine no more at all in thee: and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.

And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth. –Revelation 18: 8-24.

God Has Judged Babylon and Decreed Its Destruction

And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God:

For true and righteous are his judgments: for he hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand.

And again they said, Allelula. And her smoke rose up for ever and ever.

And the four and twenty elders and the four beasts fell down and worshipped God that sat on the throne, saying, Amen; Alleluia.

And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants, and all ye that fear him, both small and great.

And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.–Revelation 19: 1-6.

The Marriage Supper of the Lord Jesus Christ

Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.

And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.

And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.

And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

–Revelation 19: 7-10.

Jesus Christ and the Armies of Heaven

Will Destroy Babylon the Great and Satan’s World Empire on Earth

And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he [Jesus Christ] that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.

And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

And he hath on his vesture and on thing a name written, KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORD.

     And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto t he supper of the great God;

That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.

And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him [Jesus Christ] that sat on the horse, and against his army.

And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire and brimstone.

And the remnant were slain with the sword of him [Jesus Christ] that sat upon the horse, which sword proceedeth out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh. –Revelation 19:11-21..

And he laid hold on the dragon, t hat old serpent, which is the Devil and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,

Those Who Refused to Worship Satan and Babylon

Will Reign With Jesus Christ During the Millennium

And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. –Revelation 20: 4.

At the End of the Millennium Satan and the Evil Spirits

Will Be Released and the War of Gog and Magog Takes Place

And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed our of his prison.

And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, God and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved cityy: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brinstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. –Revelation 20: 7-10.

Every Person Born on Earth Will Appear Before the Judgment Bar of God

And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

And death and hell were cast in the lake of fire. This is the second death.

And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. –Revelation 20: 11-15.

The Righteous Who Accept the Gospel of Jesus Christ

and Keep His Commandments Will Live in the Kingdom of God

And I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

And he said unto me, It is done. I am alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. –Revelation 21: 1-6.
